Job Overview:

This individual will also have established relationships with MNCs and SMEs in Singapore, allowing for strategic business growth and new opportunities in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including sales, leasing, credit, and customer service departments, ensuring that all departments meet their goals and contribute to the company's success.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence, customer service, and teamwork.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure teams have up-to-date knowledge of lending structures and industry best practices.
• Lending & Financial Solutions:
• Drive the development and management of financial products, including hire purchase, leasing, and floor stock financing.
• Structure, evaluate, and approve complex financial deals, ensuring that they meet client needs while adhering to company standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilized extensive knowledge of floor stock financing (particularly in the automotive sector) to design flexible and competitive financing solutions for dealers and corporate clients.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Leverage an established network of relationships with MNCs, SMEs, local car dealers, and key decision-makers in Singapore to expand the company’s market reach.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels, customer loyalty, and retention.
• Identify new business opportunities within the corporate sector and proactively convert leads into successful contracts.
• Sales & Business Development:
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to grow the company’s presence in both the auto leasing and floor stock financing markets.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for product development, market expansion, and partnership opportunities.
• Monitor competitors and industry trends to stay ahead of market demands and introduce innovative solutions.
• Operational & Financial Oversight:
• Oversee the daily operations, ensuring that the company's financing processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
• Manage budgets, revenue targets, and financial KPIs to ensure the company meets its business objectives and financial goals.
• Analyze performance metrics regularly to optimize operations and identify areas for improvement.
• Strategic Leadership:
• Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to shape the company’s long-term strategy and make appropriate recommendations to the Managing Director.
• Contribute to key decisions, including the development of new products, services, and expansion into new markets.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and regulatory meetings to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Proven experience in a senior management or leadership role within the banking, financial services, or auto leasing industries.
• In-depth knowledge of lending structures, especially hire purchase, leasing, and floor stock financing.
• Strong experience in structuring and managing floor stock financing, ideally within the banking or finance sector, with a deep understanding of how to structure deals and work with automotive dealerships.
• Established relationships with MNCs and SMEs in Singapore, with a strong network of industry contacts.
• Skills:
• Excellent financial acumen, with the ability to structure complex financing solutions tailored to business needs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful team management and client relationship building.
• Expertise in analyzing financial statements, credit risk assessments, and structuring financial products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Relevant certifications in banking, finance, or leasing are highly desirable.
• Personal Attributes:
• A strategic, results-oriented leader with a strong business development mindset.
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
• Preferred candidate to either have cultural experiences or language skills such as Korean, Japanese, or Chinese to manage relationships with automotive companies in Japan, Korea or China.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in managing complex lending structures.
• Candidates coming from established companies in similar positions and experiences will be preferred.
