Responsibilities- Work with well-established customers base in the petrochemical | pharmaceutical | aviation, and OEM industries in Singapore
- Interpret customer requirements
- Understand industry standards and specifications
- Read customer drawings and generate bill of materials
- Formulate sales proposals and negotiate directly with end users to close orders
- Negotiate procurement of materials, parts, sub-contract services and logistics
- Degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline
- Working knowledge of industrial piping and related hardware
- Reward driven with a real desire to improve sales and business margins
- Proficient with MS Excel
Advantages
The following optional skills or work experience would be an advantage- Familiarity with ASME | DIN | JIS and similar material specifications
- Previous experience in a plant or on-site maintenance or engineering role
- The position will be in an office based working environment. No outdoor sales required.
- Applicants without prior sales experience but with engineering background may be considered.
- Monthly Salary Range shown excludes commission component.
