Permanent hiring with a wireless networking solutions client based in Singapore.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team of software, hardware, and RF engineers. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing software/firmware test cases and CI/CD automation as part of firmware/software releases.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement software test automation frameworks.
Create and maintain test cases for firmware/software releases.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in embedded systems and networked devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and meet project deadlines.
Stay updated with software best practices and emerging technologies to enhance testing processes.

Core Skills

Experience in software test automation.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell Script, or JavaScript.
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
Familiarity with embedded devices and networking concepts.
Hands-on experience in Linux/Wi-Fi environments.
Knowledge of the software/system/product development lifecycle.

Requirements

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Proactive and adaptable with a commitment to learning and achieving results in a fast-paced setting.
