Sustainability Market Analyst - Toa Payoh
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Market Analyst to join our
dynamic team. This role is responsible for monitoring sustainability trends, assessing market
dynamics, and providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal
candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG)
factors, a passion for sustainability, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of global and regional sustainability
markets, including renewable energy, clean technology, circular economy,sustainable agriculture, and other relevant sectors.
o Identify and analyze key market trends, drivers, challenges, and opportunities
o Monitor regulatory developments, policy changes, and technological advancements
impacting sustainability markets.
o Analyze the competitive landscape, including key players, their strategies, and
market share.
ESG Data Analysis:
o Gather, analyze, and interpret ESG data from various sources, including company
reports, databases, and research providers.
o Contribute to the development and refinement of ESG scoring methodologies and
frameworks.
Investment Support:
o Develop market insights and presentations to inform investment decisions and
strategies.
Reporting and Communication:
o Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported research reports, presentations, and
data visualizations summarizing key findings and recommendations.
o Stay informed about current sustainability trends and communicate relevant
information to the team.
Collaboration:
o Collaborate with team members across the organization.
o Engage with external stakeholders, such as industry experts, research providers,and sustainability organizations.
o Contribute to the company's broader sustainability initiatives and knowledge
sharing efforts.
Marketing:
Develop and execute sustainability-focused marketing strategies
o Create comprehensive marketing plans that effectively communicate our
sustainability value proposition to target audiences, including content marketing,social media campaigns, email marketing, webinars, and events.
Content creation
o Produce engaging and informative content related to our sustainability initiatives,industry trends, and the impact of our offerings (e.g., blog posts, case studies,
infographics, videos).
Manage marketing materials
o Develop and maintain sales and marketing collateral that effectively communicates
our sustainability value proposition.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance
o Track key metrics, analyze campaign effectiveness, and identify areas for
improvement to optimize ROI.
Sales:
Identify and qualify leads
o Proactively identify and qualify potential customers who are aligned with our
sustainability values and are seeking sustainable solutions.
Respond to inquiries and RFPs
o Prepare thorough and persuasive responses to customer inquiries and requests for
proposals, highlighting our sustainability credentials.
Represent the company at industry events
o Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our
sustainable solutions and build relationships.
Team Support
Project Support: Support in managing projects related to overall sustainability,
decarbonization and carbon advisory. Assist in Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD),Green Mark, LEED, and WELL projects.
Support in creating clear and simple data visualizations or reports that explain key findings
from the models.
Assist in developing training materials and content to support internal or external learning
on digital twin technologies.
Contribute to aligning digital twin insights with sustainability goals and certification
requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business,Economics, or a related field.
Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Enthusiastic about sustainable technologies and how digital tools can support greener
buildings.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn about digital systems in the built
environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data analysis, statistical tools, and market intelligence platforms.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and programming languages
like Python or R.
