Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Indian dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- Propose seasonal ingredients, dishes and culinary trends to improve on menu
- Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness, tidiness, food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Kitchen and Service team to improve overall dining experience
- Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Cook
- Passion for Indian cuisine
- Expertise in vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian cooking
- Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
- Willing to work on weekends, and holidays as required in the restaurant industry.
