Management Trainee (Corporate & Business Strategy) - Bukit Merah
We are looking for a highly motivated Management Trainee (Corporate & Business Strategy) to understudy our CEO and General Manager. This structured 2-year traineeship is designed to groom future business leaders by providing hands-on exposure across various business functions, strategic planning, and corporate development.
Successful candidates will gain a holistic understanding of the logistics industry, contribute to business improvements, and work with key institutions to enhance the company's standing. Mid-career switchers are welcome, and selected candidates may undergo a Career Conversion Programme (CCP) if deemed suitable.
Key Responsibilities:
Throughout the traineeship, the Management Trainee will:
Business Operations & Process Improvement:
- Rotate across different divisions (eg. Operations, Finance, HR, Business Development, Supply Chain) to understand business processes.
- Analyze existing workflows and propose enhancements to operations for efficiency and cost reduction
- Work with senior management to streamline processes and impement best practices
Corporate Development & Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute plans for corporate growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning
- Assist in partnerships with government agencies, trade associations, and industry bodies to enhance the company's presence
- Support in applying for government grants and incenties to drive business growth
- Work with leadership to explore new business opportunities and revenue streams
Business Intelligence & Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze key business indicatiors (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making
- Prepare reports, presentations, and strategic insights for management
- Conduct market research to indentify trends and recommend business strategies
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Development:
- Shadow the CEO and senior executive in high-level meetings
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives
- Gain exposure to corporate governance, financial planning, and risk management
