Internal Audit Associate I 6 Months Contract I up to $3,600 per month - Geylang

Contract Type: Full-Time, 6 Months (Extension Possible)

Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Internal Audit in conducting risk assessments and control evaluations.
• Perform internal audits of the company and its Statutory Boards, identifying risk areas and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports, including findings, key observations, and recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze financial and operational data to assess compliance with policies, regulations, and internal controls.
• Identify control gaps and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure recommendations are implemented effectively.
• Assist in special audits, investigations, and ad hoc assignments as required.
• Stay updated on industry standards, internal audit best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA.
• CA and/or CIA certifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of auditing experience in medium to large Public Accounting firms and/or Internal Audit departments.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in internal auditing and risk assessment are welcome to apply.
• Relevant experience in public agencies is an advantage.
• Good understanding of risk assessment, internal controls, and internal auditing techniques is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
• Resourceful, meticulous, and a team player with an inquisitive mind.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Independent, proactive, and highly committed to delivering quality audit work.
