Position: Program Manager - Global Network Operations Programs
Entity: DHL Express Global Head Office

Location: Singapore

The Global Network Operations Programs Group (GNOP) is pivotal in executing our FOCUS strategy by identifying and managing transformative programs that enable Global Network Operations to achieve standardized processes, service excellence, optimal efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

GNOP collaborates closely with various Business and IT teams to drive changes that align with our operational priorities and broader business needs.

As a Program Manager within GNOP, you will play a crucial role in understanding business processes and applications relevant to your scope. You will oversee multiple concurrent projects/products, ensuring they meet expectations and adhere to an overarching roadmap that supports our short- to medium-term objectives.

This role blends project/product management skills with domain expertise to swiftly translate evolving business demands into effective IT and business solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project/Program Management
Lead overall business projects/program management, ensuring clarity in task assignments, governance, planning, risk management, and effective communication of progress.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
Manage diverse stakeholders to align on roadmaps, timelines, business changes, and resource impacts, while securing buy-in for program benefits.
  • Product Management
Serve as the subject matter expert for specific applications/products, managing their roadmaps and enhancements.
  • Team Management
Identify and onboard project teams, manage and coach both direct and indirect teams, and engage with the wider Global Programs and Ops community.
  • Business Analysis
Drive innovative solutions and improvements by reviewing processes, defining requirements, and ensuring alignment with Global SOP.
  • User Group Management
Facilitate functional input, manage changes, prioritize tasks, and maintain transparency through regular reporting.
  • Roadmap and Portfolio Management
Define and communicate program strategies, implementing harmonized management processes aligned with deliverables and improvements.
  • Software Development Participation
Engage in the complete software development cycle, from concept to launch, ensuring thorough project management and user training.
  • Deployment Support
Prepare and support regions/countries for deployment, ensuring training materials are available and conducting pilot tests.
  • Post-Implementation Review
Conduct functional reviews to ensure proper application of processes and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Contingency Support
Assist in analyzing and addressing process and EGAP-related issues, operating in a customer-focused, multi-national environment.
  • Knowledge Management

Maintain a strong understanding of end-to-end operational processes and strategic challenges to effectively manage project scopes and achieve objectives.

What It Takes to be Successful in this Role?
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in project/program management.
  • Experience in business process analysis and testing.
  • Proven track record in managing process and requirements development.
  • Experience at both country and regional levels; global experience is preferred.
  • Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2) is preferred.
  • A Business Degree or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Certification or experience in requirements analysis and process definition is an advantage.
