DC Environment Support
  • To monitor the facilities infrastructure in the DC to ensure that they are within the operating
  • levels include Power infrastructure (such as Uninterrupted Power Supply and power distribution
  • boards);
  • Cooling Infrastructure (such as computer room air-conditioning units);
  • Fire detection and suppression systems (such as FM200, water sprinklers, fire extinguishers);
  • Environment monitoring system (such as humidity and temperature); and
  • Water leakage detection.
DC Facilities Management
  • To ensure through daily inspection, that the general cleanliness and tidiness of the data
  • centre are maintained by the Authority-appointed Supplier.
  • To work on site preparation tasks such as network cabling and electrical wiring, when required.
  • To manage the physical security of the data centre in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Authority.
  • Security Alarm and Security Card Access System; and
  • Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).To ensure that only authorised personnel are allowed to access the DCs.
Application Helpdesk Support
  • To provide level 1 application helpdesk support for the A users, adhering to the authority-provided standard operating procedures. This support should include:
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support to resolve application issues via phone, email, or chat; escalation of unresolved issues
  • Provide support to run scripts provided by the Authority infrastructure team.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, with escalation as needed.
  • Case Logging:
  • Maintain and update call logs, ensuring all calls are appropriately closed.
Requirements
  • The DC Operators and Helpdesk Support team shall minimally possess the following requirement:
  • At least 1 year of working experience in Data Centre Engineer Operations;
  • Certification in Data Centre Facilities Operations or equivalent and
  • At least 3 years of working experience as Application Helpdesk Support team.
