Yishun - PCB Soldering Technician

Purpose:

The PCB Soldering Technician is responsible for soldering surface mount and through-hole components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires working under a microscope to assemble and inspect electronic components with precision.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed drawings and work instructions.
• Knowledge of various soldering alloys, fluxes, cleaning materials, and related procedures.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic reading and writing abilities in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits onto PCBs using appropriate techniques (surface mount and through-hole).
• Identify and troubleshoot soldering issues, including reworking and repairing faulty connections.
• Maintain high precision and accuracy in soldering, demonstrating excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Understand and follow circuit board layouts, soldering techniques, and assembly processes.
