Job Description: Admin cum Account Manager (Courier Service)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin cum Account Manager to join our courier service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, managing client accounts, and ensuring smooth operations of courier deliveries.This role requires excellent multitasking skills, customer service experience, and a strong understanding of financial and operational processes in the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage daily office operations, including documentation, filing, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with courier partners, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly.
- Maintain and update company records, invoices, and databases.
- Assist in preparing reports, contracts, and other business documents.
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Process customer orders, track shipments, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Resolve account-related issues, disputes, and payment follow-ups.
- Negotiate service agreements and pricing with new and existing clients.
- Identify business opportunities and upsell additional services to clients.
- Financial & Billing Responsibilities:
- Generate invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain financial records and assist in budget planning.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and account reconciliation.
- Operational Coordination:
- Monitor courier schedules and ensure efficient routing for deliveries.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for order fulfillment and dispatching.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative, customer service, or account management roles (preferably in logistics/courier services).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
