Marine Operations Superintendent - Bukit Batok

Job Description:

• Oversee and coordinate daily marine operations to ensure the safe and efficient execution of tasks including vessel mobilization, de-mobilization, and maintenance operations.
• Primary contact point ashore for vessels to ensure all International, National and Local’s requirement related to equipment and certification are met
• Monitor the performance and condition of vessels, ensuring they are properly maintained and meet operational standards. Ensure vessel inspections are completed and report any necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Monitoring of vessels performance against charter party clause to ensure full compliance and initiate corrective actions when required
• Ordering bunkers as required in accordance with any Company policy that may be in force at the time
• Advising the receptionist of the port, ETA and agents for the regular dispatch of ships mail
• Ensure that all certification of vessels is valid and to avoid failure due non-compliance.
• Ensure all weekly, cumulative and annual corrections for navigational charts and publications are provided onboard in timely manner.
• Carry out the Internal & Operation Navigational Audits onboard
• To carry out and close out OVID / OSVIS inspections on vessels
• Monitor vessel fuel consumption and per benchmark
• Good understanding of IT & Computer

• Proficiency in MS Office and operational software systems.

Requirement:

• 3 – 4 years’ experience in Marine Operations Role
• Min. Diploma in Marine background at any level
• Ability to troubleshoot and analysis on vessel/ ship conversion
• Extensive knowledge of offshore vessels, technical and commercial operations
